Allyn International is currently looking for a full-time Business Development Specialist in Greenville, SC to join our organization! What does a Business Development Specialist do?
There are two parallel pieces as defined below.
Managing technology/campaigns focus for lead research and procurement
Supporting strong pipeline of leads globally for sales leaders and managers to use
Securing appointments for sales and business leaders in Allyn
External Bus Dev Campaigns support
This includes campaign/content generation and data analysis of responses
This includes creative outreach across multiple platforms as per business strategies from Bus Dev team
For the first category, scope would include:
Data management in Salesforce, LinkedIn and Uplead for maximum potential
Integration support across platforms where it makes sense
Research and procurement of leads according to current business strategy (e.g., by location, position, industry, etc)
Analytics of company progress with leads to inform strategy
Keeping appointments on the calendar for sales and business leaders with prospective clients
For the second category, scope would include:
Working with Bus Dev team to message the right leads in the right industries/companies, in the right places
Supporting sales communication across all digital platforms
Strategic growth-informed bus dev content strategy
working with internal colleagues for fresh content on a regular basis
Support revision of company website design to meet current sales goals
Position Details:
Location: Greenville, SC
Work Schedule: 40 hours, 8:00AM - 5:00PM, Monday-Friday (some weekend / after-hours support / on-call rotation may be required)
Position Classification: Full-Time; Salaried Exempt
Physical Demands: Sitting, typing, walking, and talking on the phone

Required Experience and Education:
Bachelor’s or equivalent college degree - Focus in Logistics preferred
Sales and/or operations data experience a plus

Responsibilities:
Effectiveness to generate campaigns that lead to appointments
Effectiveness to mirror business objective in obtaining appointments with target markets, locations, companies, etc
Effectiveness at translating strategy into specific actions leveraging both internal content and external research for the right messaging
Effective articulation of what works and what does not work, by the data provided in the outreach, campaigns process
Strong recordkeeping and data management that shows correlation of strategy and outcome in terms of sales generation
New appointments and lead responses based on the above
Ability to work independently and flexibly, following the guidance of the sales and strategic development leadership.
