Benefits Specialist - Non-Clinical - Human Resources 701 Grove Road Greenville, SC 29605 Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00) **candidates must have extensive Workday experience Accountabilities Serves as primary contact for plan vendors and third-party administrators. Evaluate and revise internal processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency Document and maintain administrative procedures for assigned benefits processes. Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations. Ensure timeliness and accuracy of required reporting and fees. Maintain group benefit database and update payroll as necessary. Audit the accuracy and performance of functions performed by Total Rewards team, reporting any deficiencies or opportunities for improvement to the Manager, Benefits. Perform plan audits. Prepare, collect and organize data for actuarial assessments Submit annual filings, on time, to ensure regulatory compliance. Provide customer service support to internal and external customers. Develop communication tools to enhance understanding of the company’s benefit package. Develop knowledge articles to assist the Shared Services center operate efficiently. Provide ongoing training to Workforce Advisors and Consultants. Distribute legally required documents to team members Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree- Human resources, business, or related field. Master's degree preferred. 4 years- Progressive professional experience in administering employee benefit programs, preferably in larger organizations. Job Type: Contract Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: 401(k) Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Experience: administering employee benefit programs: 4 years (Required) Work Location: On the road
