Role Summary: Millwright As a Press Maintenance Millwright, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production and non-production equipment in the press shop. This includes presses, transfers, automation, destackers, blanking lines, cranes, scrap conveyors, and tool room equipment. Responsibilities: Millwright - Maintain production and non-production equipment in the press shop - Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems - Perform daily routine and scheduled PM checks on assigned equipment - Ensure assigned equipment is clean, safe, and in good working condition - Perform major repairs and overhauls on equipment as needed, including overtime, long hours, and weekend/holiday work - Respond to production calls to repair issues causing downtime or quality concerns Qualifications: Millwright - Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or five years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience - Ability to read and understand blueprints and use the metric system - Strong fabrication, machining, or mechanical skills - Welding and cutting torch skills - Ability to work with minimum or no supervision Preferred Qualifications: - Knowledge of hydraulic and/or pneumatic systems - Basic computer skills Benefits: You can expect an engaging and dynamic work environment where you can contribute to the development of industry-leading automotive technologies.
