Shifts are most Friday & Saturday nights from 6:00 PM-1:00 AM. Job Duties Follow direction from the venue managers to ensure that our facilities are maintained and cleaned, allowing us to exceed our client’s expectations. Wash, dry, polish, sort, and put away dishes. Clean banquet rooms, hallways, rest rooms, kitchens, and other work areas according to appropriate checklists. Tidy and clean the warehouse areas. Clean floors in the kitchen, warehouse, and banquet spaces according to company protocols. Discard of all trash. Set-up and break down event equipment according to the designated floor plan. This includes moving and placing tables, chairs, linens and other equipment. There is some moving of equipment up and down stairs. Complete laundry tasks, including washing, drying, and folding towels and linens. Communicate basic purchasing needs & repair needs, specifically for cleaning supplies and equipment. Typical Schedule These shifts are primarily Friday & Saturday nights from 6:00 PM-2:00 AM. There is some flexibility on the start time, although there may be times the shift goes later than 1:00 AM. There is some seasonality to this position, with our high season being April-June and September-December. On average, you can expect to work 4-8 shifts a month. Expectations Be on time for work each day as scheduled. Work independently to complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner. Have a smart phone with phone, text and data plan with consistent access to email communication. Provide exceptional customer service to our visiting clients and guests. Must be able to think critically and problem solve, sometimes in very high stress situations. Should be flexible and be able to adapt tasks as priorities change. Perks Hourly pay of $16-$17 an hour Must be able to lift and move 50 lbs. without assistance. This job is physically demanding. Must be able to lift 20 lbs. overhead. Must have the stamina to work 8 hour shifts on your feet. Must have reliable transportation. Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving history (will have to drive company vehicles) Must own a cell phone with a data plan. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be available most Friday & Saturday nights. Must be able to speak, read, and write English. Must not have a clean criminal history and be able to pass a drug test.
