The company’s core markets include Consumer Products, Medical/Healthcare, Personal Care, Health & Beauty, Caps & Closures, and Packaging. Primary Function Demonstrates leadership capabilities. Collects and conducts all in-process Inspects and documents results for all work-in-process components on assigned machines utilizing internal specification. Spot check finished goods at the press. Communicates any nonconforming instances to process tech, packer, shift supervision and quality tech. Works with quality on bracketing/containing nonconforming material. Maintains documentation as required to comply with Customer and Company quality standards. Works with processing to start up new molds. Example., line clearance, first article inspection and material verification. Help expedite lot changeovers. Maintain and repair injections molds and perform engineering changes and PN’s. Communicates with packers to alert for quality and production related issues. Verify Packer in their zone is fluffing product for gross defects. Supports the QMS by adhering to the system requirements. Understands and follows plant safety rules. Helps to identify and eliminate any safety hazard or concern. Assists in monitoring of quality of work output. Maintains compliance with company policy and procedures. Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Responsible for teaching visual defects when finding them, mentoring the packer on quality and safety. Reporting any problems or concerns to the direct Supervisor. Ability to operate lathes, mills, surface grinders, core grinders, and other- tool making machines. Maintains good working relations with all other employees. Strives to have no conflicts with other employees. Requires regular attendance to perform essential element as contained herein between the assigned start and end times for work. Other duties as assigned.
