CNC Operator Job Description Job Summary: CNC Machine Operators manage computer numeric controlled (CNC) equipment from setup to operation. Cabinotch, Inc. uses innovative technology to mass produce cabinet components that meet quality and production standards. A CNC Operator must pay excellent attention to detail and mechanical aptitude to obtain customer satisfaction. Duties/Responsibilities: Responsible for safely operating woodworking equipment to meet quality and production standards. Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company. Oversee the machine while it executes the task and make the necessary changes to produce improved results. Inspecting finished parts for quality and accuracy. Maintaining the CNC machine, including cleaning and performing routine tasks. Troubleshooting problems with the CNC and making necessary adjustments that you have been trained to accomplish. Follow safety protocols and wearing appropriate PPE required. Collaborates with Team Lead to discuss concerns or issues that arise. Ensure that all activities are performed in compliance with safety regulations and guidelines. Keep accurate records of downtime. Practice the “5S” framework within the team and all projects. Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: Attention to Detail Time Management – able to meet daily goals Ability to prioritize tasks Good communication skills Team player – ability to work well with others Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software as needed to complete job tasks. Education and Experience: A high school diploma or GED equivalent 1 year manufacturing experience. Physical Requirements: Must be to stand on feet for the full shift Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
