About The Role: We are seeking part-time Registered Dietitians to join our team to provide medical nutritional therapy to patients via Telehealth in an outpatient setting. Your role as the Dietitian will be to focus on helping patients achieve their health goals - while we handle the insurance, billing, and paperwork. We are looking for excellent candidates that are passionate about helping patients while working at an innovative company that is focused on expanding access to nutritional care across the country. Experience treating patients with Eating Disorders, Disordered Eating, PCOS, Infertility Nutrition, Pre/Post Natal Nutrition, Thyroid Conditions, GI Conditions, Hormonal Imbalances or an interest in any of those areas is preferred. This position is part time, per-diem and remote. About Health Loft: Health Loft, based in Chicago, Illinois, provides medical nutritional counseling from expert registered dietitians (RD's) to individuals in multiple states. We make it easy for patients to see an RD by accepting their health insurance and offering convenient access to a licensed professional via our telehealth platform. They will handle the initial scheduling of patients, collecting paperwork, insurance information, benefit checks, and insurance billing - allowing you to focus on providing the best care possible! Conduct thorough initial evaluation with patients and develop a comprehensive and individualized treatment plan to meet their goals and needs. Ensure appropriate treatment progression as patient condition improves. Analyze eating and provide nutritional guidance and meal plans for patients. Interpret nutrition-related blood work and incorporate that into plan of care if needed. Complete documentation within 24-48 hours of visit. Follow up with missing patients. Creation of nutritional resources as necessary. Coordinate with patients care team as necessary. Schedule patient follow up appointments. Requirements: Bachelors or Masters of Science in Nutrition/Dietetics. Certificate of Dietetic Registration (RD) through the Commission of Dietetic Registration. Preferred experience in general clinical nutrition, and/or outpatient nutrition counseling. Preferred experience or interest in disordered eating or eating disorders.
