The Warehouse Associate will perform a variety of routine shipping, receiving, and housekeeping tasks. Shipping tasks including picking, packaging and shipment of orders. Receiving tasks including loading and unloading truck shipments and stocking the warehouse shelves. This position reports directly to the Distribution Manager. Specific duties for this position include: Prepare orders for shipment in accordance with the pick ticket and customer requirements Check inventory to verify availability of needed stock Notify the Distribution Manager of shortages Package and ship in accordance with packaging guidelines and accepted methods/practices Maintain product stock in work area Stock shelves in the warehouse Receive and unload incoming material and compare information on packing slips with purchase orders to verify accuracy of shipment Inspect shipments for damages, loss, or defects, and notify the Distribution Manager of shortages Specific qualifications for this position include: High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to operate dolly, pallet jack, and forklift Ability to lift up to 50lb.
