Join us at Cincinnati Children’s (Ranked #1 children’s hospital in the Nation). We are hiring BC/BE general pediatricians to work as Clinical Staff Physicians in acute and newborn care. Opportunities exist in the Division of Neonatology, Hematology/Oncology, and Emergency Medicine. Clinical Staff physicians in all divisions work alongside fellowship trained physicians to provide high quality, evidence-based care across a variety of acuity levels outside of traditional ambulatory care.  Candidates with diverse interests may work in multiple divisions. Both full-time and part-time positions are available.

Neonatology
Clinical Staff Physicians within the Perinatal Institute focus on newborn care programs based at Newborn Nurseries and Maternity Centers in Greater Cincinnati/ Northern Kentucky/Dayton areas. The physician is responsible for newborn care at Level I nurseries, well-newborn exams and discharges. For those interested, we also offer positions in the Level IV NICU.  Clinical schedules include day and night shifts as well as weekend and holiday rotations.
The Perinatal Institute also has a one-year fellowship for general pediatricians interested in working in the Level 2 Special Care Nursery, providing care to moderately preterm or ill infants.
Hematology/Oncology
Clinical Staff Physicians on the inpatient team in the Division of Oncology work in close conjunction with attending oncology physicians to provide day-to-day management for complex and acutely ill cancer patients. The work occurs in partnership with multidisciplinary teams that include dietitians, pharmacists, social workers, care managers, child life specialists, physical/occupational therapists, and nurses. Clinical schedules include day and night shifts as well as weekend and holiday rotations.
Emergency Medicine
Clinical Staff Physicians within the Division of Emergency Medicine work alongside pediatric emergency medicine-trained physicians and advanced practice nurses to provide the highest level of care in both the Emergency Department and Urgent Care.  Multiple positions are available as we staff our newly transformed state-of-the-art ED at our level 1 trauma center, expand into the Kentucky market, and support our suburban ED and urgent cares throughout the region. Full-time and part-time positions are available as well as opportunities to moonlight at various locations. Clinical schedules are flexible with and include 6–8-hour shifts.
An active Ohio medical license is required for credentialing.  Full malpractice insurance coverage including tail coverage will be provided.  Competitive benefits package includes relocation assistance, health, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability insurance, as well as generous retirement contributions.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Required:
·Doctor of Medicine OR Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine equivalent
·Unrestricted licensed physician
·Approval/credentialing from CCHMC Medical Staff Services Division
