Minimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Psychologist for the new schoolyear. The school district has an onsite need, so the preferred candidate is one with school-based experience. The district is in a laidback, inclusive community. Interviews are being conducted now, so please send me your most current resume to be considered for this position!
Job Details:
• Onsite near the Fountain Inn, South Carolina area
• Start in August
• 37.5 guaranteed service hours per week
• # students/sites and caseload information will be discussed further on interview with special services director
Requirements:
• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
• Active South Carolina State School Psychologist License or eligibility for licensure
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices for assessment, intervention, and consultation in schools
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to determine students' academic, behavioral, emotional, and social strengths and needs
• Develop and implement evidence-based interventions and strategies to improve students' academic and social-emotional functioning
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create positive learning environments and support student success
• Provide crisis intervention and counseling services to students as needed
• Participate in school-wide initiatives to promote positive behavior support, mental health awareness, and academic achievement
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation of all services provided
