Description:
Job Description: Applications Engineer
Responsibilities
-Develop bespoke solutions tailored to client-specific needs
-Collaborate with Applications Engineering team to design structural, mechanical components and custom electrical and hydraulic systems
-Create 3D computer-modeled drawings for client approval and use during product fabrication and assembly
-Engage directly with Sales and Clients throughout the build process, including pre-build specification reviews and pre-delivery client inspections
-Provide support to Operations and Service through hands-on and remote troubleshooting, working alongside technicians and other engineers
-Work with other teams to establish and maintain lean principles, leading continuous improvement events to enhance our products and processes
-Foster career development by setting short and long-term goals, collaborating with the supervisor and other departments to expand product knowledge and skills
Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a Master's Degree in Engineering (Engineering Technology degrees not included)
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to work collaboratively and independently
-Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time, potentially on short notice
-The job level may be adjusted if the selected candidate meets the qualifications of a more experienced level in the career path
