The Travel Registered Nurse role comes with a generous hourly rate of $60.00.
As a Travel Registered Nurse, you will embark on a rewarding journey to provide exceptional patient care and make a positive impact on diverse communities. You will be delivering high-quality nursing care to patients in various departments, such as Med/Surg, ER, or specialized units.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Assessing patients' conditions, developing care plans, and administering medications and treatments
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and patient-centered care
• Monitoring and interpreting patients' vital signs, recognizing changes, and taking prompt action in emergencies
• Maintaining accurate patient records and adhering to medical protocols and best practices.
To excel in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate degree (ADN) with intent to pursue BSN
• Active RN license in Kansas or compact state licensure
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in acute care settings
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Clinical and critical-thinking skills to handle diverse patient needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build rapport with patients and healthcare teams
• Flexibility and adaptability to succeed in various healthcare environments.
