Responsibilities include:
• Performing clerical duties, including scheduling appointments and tests, and maintaining medical records for participants.
• Coordinating scheduling of participants within multiple departments internally and externally.
• Communicating respectfully and compassionately with customers and healthcare providers.
• Assisting in coordinating participants' flow concerning appointments and tests.
• Assisting physicians in examination and treatment of patients, performing delegated duties under their direction.
• Interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, and recording information on patients' charts.
• Preparing treatment rooms for examination of patients.
• Cross-training to perform duties to enhance efficiency and continuity of patient care.
• Working cooperatively within the team concept, demonstrating flexibility, motivation, and commitment to quality patient care.
What you need to succeed:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Strong computer skills, with Epic experience preferred.
• Flu shot required.
• Good attendance record, with punctuality and reliability.
• MA formal education or office experience (new grads are ok), or LPN/RN license in good standing with office or bedside experience.
• Comfortable floating to all locations during times of vacations, call-offs, etc.
