Key Requirements:
• 8+ years of experience leading internal, registrar, and customer audits.
• Expert level understanding of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949, including implementing ISO/IATF and VDA requirements at an automotive supplier level.
• Experience leading ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 internal audits (process and system).
• Understanding of manufacturing and quality system software packages (e.g., EtQ, IntellaQuest, QAD, Ignition, MES solutions).
Preferred Skills:
• Accredited IATF 16949 lead/internal auditor certification.
• Accredited VDA 6.3 Process auditor qualifications and experience.
Job Responsibilities:
• Ensure continued customer satisfaction and integration of Customer Specific Requirements (CSR) within products, processes, and systems using auditing and Continuous Improvement (CI) methodologies.
• Create and maintain QMS documentation including policies, procedures, capability analysis, statistical process and quality control, document control approvals, and quality audits.
• May be involved in product development, qualification process, supplier quality assurance, and the initiation of changes to customer process control.
• Plan and direct activities pertinent to the value-added, practical, and operational QMS development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for manufacturing processes.
• Review existing QMS and work collaboratively to promote continuous improvement and standardization across all levels of QMS.
• Track, manage, and ensure timely approval of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for both Prototype and Production; responsible for overall NCR metric, ISO/IATF readiness as well as periodic audit performance at all sites.
• Ensure past problem history (Warranty, Field, Manufacturing) is incorporated into new and existing Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and QMS documents.
• Lead process audits and safe launch audits for all programs within the manufacturing environment.
Pay Details: $38.00 to $51.00 per hour
