The Healthcare Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) drives the full talent acquisition lifecycle by collaborating with hiring managers to identify needs, sourcing and identifying qualified candidates to meet those needs, coordinating the entire interview process, presenting offers of employment, and collaborating on orientation and onboarding. The TAS uses their creativity and innovation to attract high quality talent, dedicated to our mission, vision, and values, to meet the needs of our patients and residents. They also use their high attention to detail and action oriented work ethic to ensure these candidates are hired and brought on to the team in the best way possible.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Responsible for the independent execution and coordination of all aspects of the recruitment process in a multi-state area;

Proactively engage with leadership teams to establish a common understanding of our Talent Acquisition processes and service level standards;

Consult with hiring managers to identify the scope of talent needed;

Collaborate with other team members to develop effective sourcing strategies both at the strategic and tactical levels;

Execute strategic and tactical sourcing strategies to ensure top talent is identified and acquired in the shortest time possible;

Explore new, creative ways of sourcing talent to optimize success by focusing on both active and passive talent, utilizing social media, job boards, advertisements, networking, etc.;

Advises and consults with hiring managers on hiring decisions, job offer negotiations, and market trends within the industry;

Provides hiring managers on-going status of all hiring activities related to their open roles;

Regularly seeks feedback on talent submissions and interviews to improve the talent acquisition lifecycle;

Responsible for recruiting for open positions throughout our multi-site communities.

Partner with hiring manager to fill positions.

Develop job postings to attract candidates and build a pipeline of qualified applicants.

Check references, background checks and assist with onboarding of new hires.

Develop and maintain relationships with local universities and colleges as well as C.N.A training schools.

Attend job fairs, school presentations and other events to recruit for your assigned entities.

Look for opportunities to improve and streamline processes and execute.

Assist with other HR functions and projects as requested by the VP of Human Resources or other team members as needed.

Perform additional related tasks/duties as required and/or assigned.

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university preferred; High School diploma or equivalent required;

1+ year in a recruitment related role ideally in a multi-unit/multi-state environment

Knowledge of HR practices related to recruitment and hiring;

Strong collaboration skills including the ability to influence others;

Strong communication skills both written and verbal;

Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle numerous projects;

Strong focus on finishing tasks

Excellent ability to provide updates on processes and ensuring everyone is fully informed
