Job Responsibilities With our Agency's mission to support the recovery of people with mental illnesses, we provide a complete array of medical and support services for children, adults, and families throughout South Carolina.
This position is located at:   Greater Greenville Mental Health Center
124 Mallard Street

Under limited supervision, will serve as the Housing Contract Coordinator, Crisis Bed Funding Coordinator, Assistant CARF Coordinator, and Assistant Disaster Response Coordinator for Greater Greenville Mental Health Center.
1. Serves as the Housing Coordinator for GGMHC to include facilitating new admissions to the housing programs, ensuring patients enrolled in housing programs are reviewed annually and in compliance with terms of housing agreement, and assisting with filling all housing vacancies promptly.
2. Serves as Crisis Bed Funding Coordinator.  Responsible for reviewing crisis bed funding requests from contract hospitals.  Reviews all psychiatric hospital bed requests for unfunded psychiatric patients in need of hospitalization.  Manages monthly report that tracks crisis bed funding.
3. Serves as Asssistant CARF Coordinator for GGMHC to include providing guidance, coordination, and planning to enable the GGMHC to obtain triennial CARF accreditation, including participation in annual SCDMH CARF training and filing of annual CARF Conformance Report.
4. Serves as the Assistant Disaster Response Coordinator for GGMHC to include providing leadership of all disaster coordinated events.  Assists with training of new members, participating in full scale and tabletop exercises, and participates as a member of the Upstate Healthcare Coalition, the UHCC subcommittee, and the Regional Go Team.
5. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum and Additional Requirements A high school diploma and relevant program experience.
