Reliability Engineering Intern

The Operations department is looking for a Reliability Engineering Intern to join their team in Le Sueur, MN. As a Reliability Engineering intern you will be responsible for completing project-based ventures assigned by your mentor.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assigned projects within the Process Technology team that may include:
• Ensures the reliability and maintainability of new and modified assets
• Participates in the development of design and specifications of commissioning plans
• Participates in the evaluation of assets for MRO suppliers and technical maintenance providers
• Participates in commissioning of the installation of new assets. Develops acceptance tests and inspection criteria.
• Performs site acceptance testing to ensure adherence to functionality and quality specifications
• Systematically defines, develops and refines a maintenance plan
• Statistically analyzes measured data from predictive technologies such as vibration, ultrasonic and infrared
• Participates in the lubrication analysis program to identify reliability problems and implements solutions
• Participates in computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) upgrades and enhancements
• Performs criticality analysis (CA) by statistically studying downtime, failure reporting and risk assessment by
• assets and locations
• Performs root-cause and root-cause failure analysis (RCA, RCFA) to identify and resolve defects
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications & Skills:
• Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
• Mechanically inclined
• 1+ year previous experience in a manufacturing, maintenance, automation or other hands-on environment
• Ability to become certified in Chemical Handling & Respirator
• Ability to read and write in English to complete required documentation
• Basic computer skills
• Demonstrated level of confidentiality and professionalism
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Working towards a degree in a relevant field of study with an expected graduation date of 2024, 2025, or 2026
Experience: 1-year experience in a related field preferred
Systems: Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and Zoom

Travel Requirements: Local travel may be required between Cambria locations
Physical Requirements:
• Lift up to 30 lbs
• Stand on feet for extended periods of time
• Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by Cambria
• Participate in daily stretch and flex exercises
• Occasionally work in wet and/or humid conditions
• Work in a non-climate controlled environment
• Walk up and down steps multiple times throughout shift
• Bend over multiple times throughout shift
