Primary Purpose
The primary purpose of the Grill Attendant is to ensure that guests have an excellent experience as it relates to their meals, beverages and interactions.
Work Performed
The Grill Attendant will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments:
• Present menus, answer questions, and suggest food and beverage items;
• Take food and beverage orders, Relay orders to kitchen, and serve orders to guests in a timely manner;
• Monitor tables ensuring all patrons are served in accordance with established protocols;
• Clear and clean tables as needed;
• Compute bill and accepts payment, including tracking sales receipts;
• Ensure tips are reported properly for tax processing;
• Maintain wait station by keeping area tidy and stocks glasses, silverware and other related supplies; and
• Any and all other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.
Qualifications
Required Prior Experience:
Prior customer service experience
Preferred Prior Experience
Prior cash handling experience
Required Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Required Licenses/ Certification
Food Safety Training certified or become certified within first 60 days of employment.
Alcohol Awareness certified or become certified within first 60 days of employment
Preferred Technology
Previous experience with Micros operating system
Physical
Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs occasionally and a minimum of 15lbs regularly
Able to bend and squat repeatedly
Able to walk and stand for duration of scheduled shift
Other
Flexible to work day shifts, early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
