Job Description
Position Title : Towel Attendant
Reports to: Food and Beverage Managers, Assistant General Manager
Supervises: None
FLSA Status : Non- Exempt
Job Summary
The T owel Attendant position is responsible for the laundering of the pool towels provided to members and guests during their visit to the pool.
Essential Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To
• Reports to work on time and in proper uniform
• Completes assigned set-up and break- down side work
• Collects towels from the drop off bins and used towels from the pool deck to launder
• Wash, dry and fold towels throughout the day as they accumulate
• Provide attention to members and guests and their children, as needed
• Properly clears food and beverages according to club standards of service
• Removes soiled dishes and keeps pool area clean
• Properly communicates with management on issues with equipment
• Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor or other department heads
Education And/Or Experience
• Previous work experience a plus, but not required
JOB KNOWLEDGE, CORE COMPETENCIES AND EXPECTATIONS
• Excellent active listening skills
• Ability to operate the washing and dryer equipment
• Follows all food & beverage health safety guidelines
Physical Requirements
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Must be able to withstand working in outdoor conditions including heat/humidity
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time
• Must be able to move about the pool deck
• Continuous repetitive motions
• Frequent lifting and carrying of items up to 50 lbs.
• Occasional pushing and pulling of items up to 50 lbs.
