Quality Control Inspector (6:00am - 2:30pm)
• Receiving and inspecting incoming materials for conformance to specifications.
• Testing and evaluating incoming materials (raw materials) and intermediate products to ensure they are within specification and Coloplast standards.
Major Areas of Accountability
• Receive raw materials (chemical and component) into E1 including printing coli and pallet labels.
• Perform raw material and intermediate product inspections per specifications and procedures.
• Maintain neat, orderly documentation of inspections and test results.
• Maintain clean workstations, dispose of solvents and solvent containers per EHS guidelines.
• Confirm materials meet established standards and specifications and release per procedures.
• Investigate out of specification (OOS) results, use problem solving techniques to determine root cause and correctives actions. Write QANs as necessary.
• Assure necessary supplies are available for use.
• Ensure that equipment is in good working order and calibrated prior to use if necessary.
• Work cross functionally to improve incoming product quality and operation efficiency.
• Sample and complete retests of materials prior to the expiration date of the material.
• Follow regulatory requirements of cGMP, ISO, USP, and Coloplast.
• Follow all EHS policies and safe practices.
• Complete Quality and EHS training as required
• Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent related experience required.
• Ability to lift 50-80 pounds
• Able to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining routine responsibilities.
• Able to read and understand SDS
Preferred Qualifications
• Able to communicate on technical issues exhibiting strong verbal and written skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office Excel and Word.
• Inspection experience
• USP requirements and test methods.
