Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
• Perform simple & routine tasks assigned at the direction of our mid or senior level architects using the standards set by the company, group, client, etc.
• Correct mark-ups on drawings provided by architects.
• Become familiar with the company’s and client’s methods, standards, and practices.
• Evaluate, select, and apply standard architecture methods, techniques, procedures, and criteria, using independent judgment with oversight from more senior architects.
• Develop, review and coordinate documents with suppliers, other disciplines and customers.
• Proficient development of basic architectural deliverables such as drawings, specifications, and calculations. Some training for the intern on this responsibility is expected.
• Conduct document and design checking as required.
• Perform building codes review with summary. Some training for the intern on this responsibility is expected.
Required
Qualifications
• Completing an undergraduate degree in Architecture from an accredited college or university in 2024.
• 0 to 3 years of work experience in architectural design, preferably on industrial or chemical manufacturing projects.
• Ability and willingness to travel to local project sites.
• Must pass drug test, background check, and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving (MVR) policy.
• Willingness to work in the Greenville, South Carolina office.
Preferred
• Good oral and written communication skills required.
• Experience with MS Office required.
• Strong ability to work in a team environment required.
• An established AXP record, experience in progress is ideal.
• Working experience with Revit is a plus.
• Knowledge of International Building Codes (ICC IBC) and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes is a plus.
