Position Summary
Responsible for dishing and busing area tasks according to standard practices and procedures, cleaning, delivering, setting up, and other duties related to food services.
Core Job Responsibilities
• Dishwashing and removal of trays from floors
• Maintaining clean hoods and general cleaning of kitchen area
• Also responsible for some food prep and food sanitation practices.
• Mopping and cleaning of floors (kitchen and Servery)
• Participates in the performance improvement and quality assurance process of the department and hospital.
Physical Requirements
• Must be able to withstand the stress and demands of an active position
• Manual dexterity, good hand-eye coordination and adequate vision needed in daily work
• Must able to communicate effectively verbally and in written formats
• Must be able to respond calmly and efficiently in crisis solutions
