About This Role
A seasoned professional in Manufacturing Engineering who works independently and in collaboration with other manufacturing design personnel. Analyzes designs and develops component layouts. Coordinates and implements sequence of operations, and product updates and enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement warehouse layout and processes to optimize efficiency and throughout.
• Develop and implement material delivery plans and processes to ensure timely delivery of materials to production lines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. production, logistics, quality assurance) to ensure seamless integration of warehouse and material delivery systems with production operations.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse and material delivery processes.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse and material delivery performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in warehouse and material handling operations
• Develop and manage budgets and timelines for warehouse and material delivery projects.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on warehouse setup and material delivery.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong knowledge of warehouse layout design, material handling equipment, and material delivery systems.
• Experience with warehouse management software (e.g. SAP, WMS) and material planning systems (e.g. MRP).
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proven track record of delivering results and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
