Operating Room Housekeeper
Position Summary
Sovah Health is looking for the ideal candidate who will under the supervision of an RN, performs basic housekeeping activities.
• Performs basic housekeeping activities as delegated and supervised by an RN.
• Assists with keeping OR rooms and common areas stocked, clean and orderly.

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Education
High School diploma or equivalent
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Requires ability to read and write legibly and carry out direction promptly and accurately. Must exhibit effective communication skills and interpersonal skills. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to perform duties in the OR. Requires the ability to respond quickly and calmly under stressful or emergency situations.
Certifications:
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
Minimum Work Experience
Previous experience in hospital setting preferred. Requirements will include successful completion of orientation program and competency requirements.
