About Our Client A highly reputable developer / general contractor that focuses on the development of its employees, career growth, leadership opportunities. This General Contractor has a growing portfolio and is excited to bring on a few additional people to the team including a Traveling Assistant Superintendent with at least 3-5+ years of experience, and at least some of that experience with Healthcare projects.
Job Description • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
• Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project

The Successful Applicant • 3-10 years of experience with a GC
• At least some experience with Healthcare Construction projects
• Must be able to work in a multiple-project environment.
• Ability to read and understand plans.
• Ability to travel throughout the country.
• Technical understanding of residential construction including building codes, trade sequencing, and best building practices.
• Capable of problem solving and experience with complex detailed projects.
• Work with subcontractors, suppliers, utilities, city inspectors, organize and direct activities concerned with their construction projects.
• Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, performance, and quality standards within boundaries of company policy and contract specifications.
• Monitor and control project through managing the construction schedule and directing subcontractors and suppliers to ensure project is completed on schedule and within budget.
• Investigate potentially serious situations, anticipate project delays, monitor job site safety, and implement corrective measures.
