Our work depends on Network Engineer Senior joining our team to support the US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM).HOW A NETWORK ENGINEER SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACTAnalyzes user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architectures to develop network requirements specificationsGuides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studiesAnalyzes network requirements and capacity and leads design and development activitiesProvides technical leadership for the integration of network requirements, design, and technologyIncorporates new network plans, designs and systems into ongoing operationsDevelops network architecture and network design documentationGuides network development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of network engineering management plans and network integration and test plansDesigns and performs integration of new technologies into local and wide area networksProvides advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution of complex network problemsManages the transition and migration of networks and development of network addressing schemesInteracts with the Government regarding Network Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflictsUltimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Network Engineering area of responsibilityCommunicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives ​WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:Education: High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of related experience, or Associate's Degree with 8 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree with 6 years of experienceRequired Skillset:Mitigate risks, controls costs and schedule variance, and effectively manages large scale, integrated projects Review and/or approve Network engineering documentation to ensure that processes and specifications meet Network needs and are accurate, comprehensive, and complete Establish and follow a formal procedure for coordinating Network integration activities among multiple teams, ensuring complete coverage of all interfaces Capture all interface designs in a common interface control format, and store interface data in a commonly accessible repositorySecurity Clearance Level: TS/SCIRequired Certification(s):DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II Computing Environment (CE) Certification as determined by the Program Manager is required prior to support on contractRequired Security Environment Certification: CISSP or CASPRequired Computing Environment Certification: CCNP within 180 days of your start date.
