Leads lower level staff in activities related to handling and maintaining the flow of materials and products according to established guidelines. Analyzes material usage, including scrap rate and repair history, minimum stock and pool quantity calculation accordingly to fulfill production requirements. Leads in orienting, training, assigning and checking the work of business support employees. May serve as a resource on varied tasks.Key Requirements:Works under minimal supervision to provide assistance with managing inventory and movement of materialsEnsures accuracy of shipping documentationLeads lower level staff in activities related to handling and maintaining the flow of materials and products according to established guidelinesPerforms data analysis to facilitate setting transportation and service ratesReads production and delivery schedules, and confers with supervisors, to determine sorting and transfer procedures, arrangement of packages on pallets and destinations of loaded palletsResponds to complex customer or shipper questions and complaints regarding storage and distribution servicesAnalyzes material usage, including scrap rate and repair history, minimum stock and pool quantity calculation accordingly to fulfill production requirementsImplements warehouse safety and security programs and activitiesRequired Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED 2 + years of experience with logisticsPreferred Qualifications: Degree is preferred2-year post high school training with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience preferredExperience in traffic control/ distribution activitiesHave strong organizational, communication, partnership, and social skills.Practice strong relationship skills with the ability to work across a broad range of job levels#LI-OnsiteRSRCARCarrier is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
