Full job description
First Piedmont Corporation, a Regional Waste Removal and Disposal employer, is hiring a Truck Switcher/ Heavy Equipment Operator at our Martinsville transfer station.
General Duties to include, but not limited to :
Moving trailers into and out of the loading pit
Prepping the trailers for hauling by tarping and un-tarping them
Daily inspections to ensure trailers, loaders and yard tractors remain safe and operational
Backup loader operator
Operate heavy equipment in compliance with FPC's safety policies and procedures to load waste into trailers
Day Shift
Monday-Friday and occasional Saturdays
Requires Good Driving Record
