Full job description
This position is responsible for the operation of a computer keyboard terminal to transcribe alphabetic or numeric data from simple source documents following standardized procedures. Coordinates all inbound/outbound shipments based on customer demands and priorities and within a Just-in-Time (JIT) environment. Position requires a level of confidentiality in dealing with data provided for computer input. Position represents the Company in a positive image working with our employees, customers, and community in a safe and ethical manner to achieve financial success.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Coordinates the movement of material in and out of warehouse upon direction of customer orders. Performs routine data input related to warehouse inbounds and outbound moves. Responsible for creating pick sheet as determined by the customer and distributes them to the warehouse personnel for picking. Creates bill of ladings and other shipping documentation. Must enter all pertinent information into the proper warehouse management software systems. Enters all inbound customer product and identifies any shortages, overages, etc. Completes daily operations reports. Fast, efficient, and accurate office administrative work required. Extensive communications with customers, warehouse associates, drivers and transportation personnel. Computer files and hard document storage must be filed in a manner that facilitates easy retrieval for audit purposes. Follows all workplace processes and standards in support of the ISO-9001 Quality certification. Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
One year certificate from college or technical school; or one to three years related data entry experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in a data entry environment. Ability to work accurately with numbers. Ability to convert different weight metrics based on customer requirements. Good organizational skills.
SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED
Must possess excellent personal keyboard skills and having working knowledge of Microsoft Office products software i.e.; Word, Access, and Excel. Ability to perform assignments with minimal supervision and under tight deadlines. Must be able to multi-task and perform under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Good interpersonal and communication skills required. Ability to read and interpret documents related to quality data required. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively using the telephone, Fax, E-mail etc.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to perform basic math functions, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving data entry issues.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
