Job Description Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the construction of a state-of-the-art semiconductor facility. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in large-scale construction projects, specifically in the semiconductor industry, and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project from conception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of the semiconductor facility construction project
- Manage a large, cross-functional team, including engineers, architects, contractors, and other construction professionals
- Ensure the project is delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Develop and implement a comprehensive project plan, including resource allocation, timelines, and risk management strategies
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including senior management, clients, government authorities, and suppliers, to ensure alignment and compliance with industry standards
- Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure the successful completion of the project
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the construction process
- Manage and resolve any arising issues or conflicts within the project team.
- Report regularly on project progress, budget, and issues to senior management and other stakeholders
- Have a deep understanding the various aspects of semiconductors facilities such as a Fab building, sub fab, clean room construction, PSSS, HPM, sequence of engineering and construction of all the stated aspects of a semiconductor facility

Basic Job Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in construction management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in semiconductor facility construction
- Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects from start to finish
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Deep understanding of construction methodologies, project management principles, and budgeting
- Proficient in project management software
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and quality standards
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Preferred Qualifications - Preferred location for this role is the Pacific Northwest, specifically could be located in Hillsboro, Oregon.
