Our work depends on Functional Analyst Senior (SME) joining our team to support the US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM).HOW A FUNCTIONAL ANALYST (SME) WILL MAKE AN IMPACTMeet with INSCOM stakeholders at all levels to collect and document theirrequirements for applications and supporting systems.Reviews and maps the business processes for new applications and to supportenhancements to existing systems.Analyzes and models existing business procedures to identify areas of improvement.Create Assessment Report outlining the requirements collected from thestakeholders’ meetings during each stage of the project.Create detailed business requirement documentation.Create detailed workflows and process diagrams, including application wireframesand projected plan layouts to support customer requirements.Perform feasibility analysis and collaborate with the project management team toprioritize deliverables.Partner with the development teams to provide reporting on the status of softwaredevelopment solutions.Provide recommendations for improvement or technology strategies that can beleveraged for projects.Review project scope requirements and provide recommendations to the Governmenton possible courses of action.Provide user training and project transition support.Document current business processes as well as desired applications.Provide knowledge transfer of requirements to application developers and project managersWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:Education: High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of related experience, or Associate's Degree with 8 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree with 6 years of experiencePreferred Skills:Eight years of experience as Business Analyst capturing and documenting business processes and requirement.Six years of experience as Business Analyst capturing and documenting software development and Information technology processes and requirement used in a Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) environment using the Microsoft .NET frameworkEight years of experience creating process diagrams and flow charts, mapping business  processes to the customer requirements.Five years of experience working with software developers and customers to scope projects, estimate levels of effort, and evaluate customer requirements in order to create applications to deploy to Microsoft SharePoint (both out-of-the-box and with custom coded) and to MicrosoftInternet Information Services (IIS) using the Microsoft .NET Framework.Three years of experience mentoring junior personnel on proper practices and procedures.Five years of experience with the SDLC process.Clearance Level: TS/SCIRequired Certification(s):DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II Computing Environment (CE) Certification as determined by the Program Manager is required prior to support on contractIAT II 8570 Baseline Certification -Sec+CE or equivalent​Location: On Customer SiteUS Citizenship: RequiredAdditional:Candidates must be willing and able to attain a CI Polygraph for certain positions as determined by the contractPosition may require lifting of objects (i.e. IT Hardware), reaching/bending/kneeling (i.e. plug in cables) and other moderately strenuous activityGDIT IS YOUR PLACE:401K with company matchComprehensive health and wellness packagesInternal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your careerProfessional growth opportunities including paid education and certificationsCutting-edge technology you can learn fromRest and recharge with paid vacation and holidays#GDITPriority#GDITINSCOM#I2TS3#GDITArmyScheduled Weekly Hours:40Travel Required:Less than 10%Telecommuting Options:OnsiteWork Location:USA VA CharlottesvilleAdditional Work Locations:We are GDIT.
