Full job description
Responsible for providing instruction in educational programs within Emergency Services.
This position is primarily a Basic Life Support (CPR) instructor.
Career progression can include instructor certification in many advanced courses and/or Emergency Medical Technician i
Provides course instruction and responds effectively and efficiently to the educational needs of the population being served.
Interfaces effectively with peers and customers and assumes responsibility for continuous professional development.
In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned. Position Compensation Range: $54,558.40 - $87,297.60 Annual
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Graduate or equivalent required.
Experience: 1 year experience preferred.
Licensure: None required. Instructor Status: Current and in good standing for disciplines taught
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently traveling and bending/stooping and reaching (overhead, extensive, and repetitive). Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly. May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
