RiverValley Behavioral Health - Acumen Counseling Services Owensboro, KY 42301 Job Summary: The Mobile Crisis Peer Support Specialist provides prompt strength-based assessment and crisis response to persons in the community with mental illness and/or substance use disorders. This position works with children, adults, and families experiencing crisis symptoms that put them at great risk for hospitalization or other higher out of home levels of care. Services provided are typically time-limited and involve crisis intervention. Serves as a fully integrated team member of the Mobile Crisis Team to provide expertise about the recovery process, symptom management, and the persistence required by clients. Service provision will focus on working with clients to enhance their recovery.
