Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and operations of our facilities. The Facilities Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe functioning of our buildings, equipment, and systems. This is a key leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage a team. Duties: - Develop and implement maintenance programs and schedules to ensure the proper functioning of all facilities - Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff, contractors, and vendors - Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly - Oversee the repair and maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards - Manage environmental services staff. - Coordinate with other departments to support their facility-related needs - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and expenses - Collaborate with external partners to execute facility improvement projects Experience: - Proven experience in facilities management or a related field - Strong knowledge of building systems, codes, and regulations - Project management skills with the ability to plan, organize, and execute facility projects - Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal - Demonstrated experience in managing maintenance staff and contractors -Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to this position or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Five years of progressive management responsibility in a field related to this position. Minimum seven years extensive experience in Healthcare Environmental Services and Facility Operations Experience. Certified Healthcare Environment Services Provider(CHESP) or Certified Healthcare Facility Manager(CHFM) preferred.
