Manages nursing practice and unit operations. Practices and adheres to the “Code of Conduct” and “Mission and Value Statement.” What qualifications you will need: Will have knowledge of services areas for which accountable. Must have customer service abilities including effective listening skills. Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. Two years' experience as RN in Intensive Care with demonstrated proficiency leadership and management skills. 4 years’ experience as an RN with 2 years in clinical specialty setting; computer skills. Two years' experience as an RN in a charge nurse role. Trauma Nursing Core Course Graduate of accredited school of nursing, Bachelors of Science. Current licensure as an RN in the state of Virginia. BLS for Healthcare Providers through AHA or CPR through the American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Spt, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date LewisGale Medical Center has provided quality healthcare services since 1909.
