Introduction: RiverValley Behavioral Health Children's Hospital is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering comprehensive mental health services to children and adolescents in our community. We are proud to announce the launch of our new High-Acuity Youth Program, designed to address the critical mental health needs of children and adolescents facing severe psychiatric challenges. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced BCBA to join our team and contribute to the development and implementation of behavior analysis interventions within our innovative program. Position Overview: As a BCBA within our High-Acuity Youth Program at RiverValley Behavioral Health Children's Hospital, you will play a vital role in assessing, designing, and implementing behavior analysis interventions to support the mental health and well-being of children and adolescents with complex psychiatric challenges. Working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team, you will utilize evidence-based practices to promote positive behavior change and improve the quality of life for our young patients and their families. Key Responsibilities: Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop comprehensive behavior intervention plans for children and adolescents admitted to the High-Acuity Youth Program. Implement behavior analysis interventions, including reinforcement strategies, behavior modification techniques, and skill-building programs, to address target behaviors and promote adaptive functioning. Provide ongoing supervision and training to behavior technicians, direct care staff, and other members of the treatment team on the implementation of behavior support plans and evidence-based practices. Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and nurses, to ensure coordinated and integrated care for patients. Participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning meetings, case conferences, and progress reviews to monitor patient outcomes and adjust intervention strategies as needed. Collect and analyze data on target behaviors and treatment outcomes, and use data-driven decision-making to guide treatment planning and modifications. Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers on behavior management techniques, reinforcement strategies, and behavior analysis principles. Contribute to program development and quality improvement initiatives, including research, data analysis, and development of best practice guidelines. Qualifications: Master's degree or higher in psychology, behavior analysis, or a related field Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a behavior analyst Minimum of two years of experience working as a BCBA in a clinical or educational setting, preferably with children and adolescents with mental health disorders Strong clinical skills in conducting functional behavior assessments, developing behavior intervention plans, and implementing behavior analysis interventions Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development in the field of behavior analysis Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards governing the practice of behavior analysis Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Continuing education credits Dental insurance Employee assistance program Flexible schedule Flexible spending account Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance Referral program Retirement plan Vision insurance Patient demographics: Adolescents Children Schedule: Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Ability to Relocate: Owensboro, KY: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
