Job Title: Credit Administration Manager Reports To: Head of Risk Administration Direct Reports: N/A Salary Grade: 12 DIRECT FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Credit Process Improvement, Business Administration – Underwriting Platform, Credit Training, Credit Analysis, Credit Policy & Procedure, Risk Rating, Reporting, Conversion Activities, Regulatory Exam Activities SUMMARY Commercial credit professional focused on the day-to-day operations of the Bank’s credit processes and administration. The successful candidate will be a versatile contributor with duties that include: commercial underwriting process improvement and integration across the Bank’s lending platforms, credit training, continued performance monitoring of the Bank’s risk rating models and assist in the future development of new risk rating models, asset quality and portfolio management reporting, regulatory exam activities, conversion support, and finally a key member of the project team for the continued enhancement and expansion of CreditLens as the Bank’s underwriting platform. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS College degree or equivalent Minimum 10 years’ experience in a commercial lending background, preferably across multiple disciplines. Extensive knowledge of credit policy, procedure and regulatory requirements. Supervisory and managerial experience preferred Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Participate and complete all required compliance training, including Bank Secrecy Act/anti-money laundering training, as well as internal and external training programs, online training, meetings, and seminars/conferences, etc. JOB FUNCTIONS Maintains and manages all Credit Administration policies, procedures, and processes, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and risk frameworks. Ensure credit risk related governance activities are continually challenged and refined. Evaluate the existing credit risk policies and procedures for opportunities to make the process more efficient. Act as the Credit Process Subject Matter Expert for multiple and simultaneous credit-related projects. Lead sub-projects and working groups in an agile development environment that take an idea from conceptual design to functional roll-out. Lead business-need discovery sessions with end-users, translate those sessions into design and project plans, and working directly with the Senior Technical Lead to bring those enhancements to realization. Create, test and launch tools and job aids to increase standardization, decrease data retouch, and facilitate our internal clients' interface with the Bank’s commercial lending platforms. Supports Credit Administration in the use of credit software and databases with respect to reporting and portfolio monitoring. Oversee the design and administration of top-of-the-house credit reporting and act as the business-side representative for various ad-hoc reporting assignments/requests. Work directly with the Credit Training Manager to ensure the Bank’s credit training curriculum is current and relevant to the Bank’s credit culture; conduct training of existing underwriting, and lending staff as well as new employees hired to the Bank. Act as a point of contact and subject matter expert for the line of business regarding commercial credit policy, processes and procedure. Manages Credit Administration governance and compliance programs and initiatives, and is responsible for ensuring first line of defense, Enterprise Risk Management, SOX, and other governance controls in Credit Administration are in place and functioning effectively. Coordinates with external and internal auditors and regulators regarding examination of lending practices and compliance with Bank lending regulations. Provides clear, pragmatic support and guidance with regard to the interpretation of regulatory requirements and stays abreast of changes in law and regulation. Provide Credit Administration support and guidance for all acquisition and conversion related activities. The role will be an integral part of functionally converting credit risk systems as well as a cultural champion and point of contact for new employees to the Bank. WORK ENVIRONMENT On-Site, Greenville, SC – One Main POSITION TYPE This is a full-time position that requires schedule flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed. TRAVEL This position requires up to 30% travel. Salary: $82,486 - $136,751 a year
