Pleasant Grove Christian Learning Center is seeking a reliable individual to provide a quality preschool education to 4 year old children. Applicants must have a CDA, an IECE or an early childhood related degree, and be able to work full time. Applicants must be organized, motivated and able to follow our policies and procedures, and have experience running an early childhood classroom. Job Responsibilities -follow and implement a set curriculum -create and implement a lesson plan using a curriculum -be able to provide consistency and routine -provide a safe and nurturing environment -ensure children are accounted for and supervised at all times -build and maintain positive relationships with children, co workers and parents -work together with other staff in a classroom to create and implement a preschool lesson plan. -communicate with parents -daily cleaning including but not limited to- sweeping, vacuuming and mopping -disinfecting of toys, equipment and surfaces Job requirements -high school diploma or GED - CDA (Child Development Associate Certificate), IECE or equivalent. -obtain a TB skin test -undergo and pass background checks -physically active and able to lift 25 lbs, stand for periods of time, crouch and kneel frequently -ongoing training required yearly Benefits -paid holidays after completion of the 90 working day probationary period -paid time off and vacation after 1 year of employment -childcare discounts Job Type: Full-time Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: Employee discount Paid time off Schedule: 8 hour shift Application Question(s): Are you able to work full time?
