Ravnec Roofing Supply has an immediate opening for a Material Coordinator in Roanoke, Virginia. This full-time opportunity will be responsible for inventory control and material distribution at our Roanoke branch. The Material Coordinator must be organized, detail-oriented and operate efficiently, as this candidate will serve as the point of contact for our Roanoke distribution center. To be successful in this role, s/he must be able to prioritize tasks according to corporate efficiencies, branch needs, and company standards/processes. Material Coordinator Duties: Reports to Distribution Manager Being professional, dependable and prompt Utilizing strong organizational skills Supervise inventory receiving, control, and distribution Maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory records Maintaining an organized and efficient yard and warehouse Supporting branch operations Pick, prepare, label & assist in loading job orders Securing loads for safe delivery This is a position in a rapidly growing company. As such, you must be a self starter and capable of working efficiently without supervision Coordinates and oversees delivery and distribution of materials Other duties as assigned Minimum Skills & Requirements: Ability to learn and use software associated with inventory management Experience in cyclical inventory counts preferred At least 1 year previous warehouse experience Previous warehouse lead experience (preferred) Strong organizational skills High school diploma or equivalent Valid Driver’s license & insurable under the company insurance policy Forklift experience (preferred) Ability to lift up to 75 -100 pounds consistently & without difficulty Ability to stand, bend, twist & climb ladders throughout the shift, without difficulty An eye for detail & organization while maintaining efficiency Ability to adhere to all safety procedures while in operating capacity Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package that includes option to participate in 401K, Medical, Dental, Vision & Life insurances Paid time off 8 paid holidays Job Type: Full Time Pay: $18 - $20/hour depending on experience Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Ability to Relocate: Roanoke, VA 24017: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
