This position is for a psychotherapist for Department of Defense funded trials designed to evaluate effectiveness of support interventions for older adults with cognitive changes and their caregivers. The position will be funded by the grant and paid through the Salem Research Institute. Therapist will be trained by research team to conduct the study interventions. Minimum Skills and Qualifications · Licensed LPC, MFT, LCSW, or PhD/PsyD; or current PhD or PsyD candidate (in mental health related field/discipline) · Is self-motivated and maintains a high level of responsibility to complete tasks in a timely manner · Possesses strong communication skills · Maintains the ability to learn new clinical techniques and deliver them in person or through telehealth as needed Responsibilities · Deliver manualized therapy in person or through telehealth to enrolled research participants. · Document the delivery of the therapy according to the approved study protocol and communicate with the study team. · Participate in ongoing discussions of the research study.
