Job Description Mountain Bridge Wilderness Area - Jones Gap is looking for a cashier to manage transactions with customers with speed and accuracy. The cashier will participate in sales, stocking and receiving of retail items. They will also be expected to provide park visitors with trail recommendations, directions and suggestions. The cashier will provide stellar customer service to park visitors. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. This position would be mainly located at the Jones Gap Rangers Station but occasionally may be required to report to the Caesars Head Rangers Station. Job Duties Operates the cash register and POS system Greets customers as they arrive in a friendly manner Show customers the location of items as needed Stock retail shelves as needed to ensure optimum availability of products Answer phones and provide customer service to callers Provide park visitors with trail recommendations, directions and suggestions as needed Direct visitors to activities within the park and surrounding areas Assist with cleaning of the store and inventory storage Job Requirements: Must be 18 or older Must have a high school diploma or equivalent Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members. Must pass a background check Must have a valid Driver's License Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential. Must be able to work independently without much supervision. Previous customer service or cashier experience is preferred Excellent work ethic with strong time management skills Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $11.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week Benefits: Flexible schedule Shift: 8 hour shift Day shift Weekly day range: Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
