The beautiful new AC Hotel by Marriott, Greenville Downtown, is seeking an energetic, welcoming and knowledgeable bartender, who has the ability to work in a busy, fast paced environment. We are looking for a bartender who interacts well with customers, who is experienced in all aspect of the bar, and has extensive knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks. Essential Job Functions Has knowledge in mixing and service of cocktails and of serving wine and draught or bottled beer. Prepares garnishes as necessary. Checks quality of food before serving. Has full knowledge of, and fully complies with, the state liquor laws. Pours responsibly for profitable bar cost, by accurate measurement of product. Follows proper procedures for ringing guest checks and collecting payments. Responsible for the set- up, cleanliness and organization of the bar. Completes opening/closing duties (side work). Adheres to all Brand and Company policies. Experience/Education High school diploma or general education degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
