Lead payroll professional for a large multistate, multi-payroll operating company. Key role in the ongoing enhancement of Paycom tools and procedures. Ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely processing of payroll on a weekly/biweekly basis; including employee profile maintenance, timekeeping review and 401k processing Enhance current procedures and practices to improve control, efficiency, and accuracy over all aspects of the payroll function Resolve any payroll-related tax items as they arise, and respond to state inquiries Accurately prepare and process W2 documents in conjunction with payroll vendor Respond to payroll questions and troubleshoot issues Develop and provide payroll reports and statistics to Human Resources and Accounting Identify process improvement initiatives and define standards for new processes Process additional payroll items related to relocation, commissions, and annual incentive bonuses Support month-end close, insurance renewals and audit and other accounting department-related items as needed High school diploma; bachelors preferred. Seven (7) or more years’ experience processing payroll for large, multistate employers Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm and a sense of urgency Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a timely manner Respects and protects the confidential nature of compensation information
