RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST
Become a member of our highly skilled radiology department and continue to learn and develop orthopaedic skills. At Beacon, you will be a vital member of our care team by assisting and positioning patients to get the best radiology outcome. You will work closely with the physician and staff creating professional relationships while assisting patients of all ages and skill level.
Part-Time employment with Saturday rotation every 4th weekend
Position is based out of our Erlanger, Kentucky office with travel to the other Northern Kentucky offices, as needed

Position Summary:
Responsible for assisting physician in patient care, performing all necessary x-rays, with a high degree of quality, escort patients to rooms, medical assistance as needed, order medical and x-ray supplies, maintain x-ray records.
Position Responsibilities/Standards:
• Escort patients to x-ray suite
• Prepare patients for x-ray
• Perform x-rays as required by physicians
• Perform C-ARM procedure
• Document procedure performed in log book
• Escort patients back to exam rooms
• Communication with physicians, patients and staff
• Medical assistance as needed
• Be available to physicians during office hours
• Ensure equipment is maintained properly
• Order x-ray supplies as needed
• Pulling, filing and mail back of x-rays.
• Answer patient questions
• Any additional duties as assigned by the manager
• OSHA
• Travel to satellite offices as necessary
• Rotating Saturdays
• Clinic Schedules: staffing needs and call in
• New hire: interview, training and orientation
• Quality review
• PACS support and phone calls
• Equipment troubleshooting/coordinate service calls
• Regulatory compliance:ODH & Physicist
• Tech licensure maintenance
• Dosimeter management
• Scheduled clinic coverage - 75%
Education/Experience Required:
• Must be ARRT and Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana Radiography licensed.
Physical Requirements:
Physical requirements for the position include the ability to frequently hear and communicate orally, see up close and at a distance, read and comprehend, stand, sit, walk, reach, handle, and/or feel objects. Must be able to climb, pull, push and kneel. Maximum unassisted lift = 50 lbs. Average lift 25-50 lbs.
