AmeriStaff is currently seeking an experienced Director of Estimating/PreCon to fill an opening with a company located in Ridgeway, VA. The position is with a company who has been the leader for over 70 years in the construction industry. They have increased the value and attractiveness of our hometowns in both Viriginia and North Carolina. The ideal candidate should have a high level of experience in commercial and industrial construction.

• Pay: $100,000-$115,000 per year.
Requirements of the Director of Estimating/PreCon:
• 3-5 years of professional estimating experience in commercial and industrial field.
• 5+ years of field experience/supervision experience.
• Demonstrates solid presentation skills and verbal/written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to navigate the intricacies of commercial and industrial construction.
Responsibilities of the Director of Estimating/PreCon:
• Responsible for accurately estimating costs, managing budgets, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
• Make decisions under tight deadlines.
• Organize people, tools, and equipment and plan manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results.
• Relate to executive management and speak on behalf of the company in meetings with clients and consultants, often in high pressure situations.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in ability and willingness to face challenges, direct others, and effectively address conflict.
• Exhibit commitment to quality by evaluating project-related processes and making necessary changes, using customer unput to make improvements, and meeting/exceeding internal and external customer expectations.
Compensation and Hours
Salary Range: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00 Year DOE (Depends on Experience) Benefits Provided: 401K, Dental, Holidays, Life Insurance, Medical, Sick Leave, Vacation Other Benefits: Not Available Full or Part Time: Full Time (30 Hours or More) Job Duration: Over 150 Days Type of Job: Regular
