General Definition of Work This collaborative position serves two missions: (1) To assist Drug Court staff in the documentation of the supervision and monitoring of Drug Court Probationers through the update and maintenance of the Drug Court MIS database; and, (2) to assist the Drug Court program in providing support for the Drug Court Advisory Board. This will include sending notices of meetings, making related arrangements and completing the minutes from each meeting.
Essential Functions To assist the Drug Court probation staff in the documentation of the supervision and monitoring of the Drug Court probation population as necessary.
To assist the Drug Court probation staff with the maintenance and updating of the Drug Court MIS database. To collect fees from the drug court participants.
To adhere to the policies and procedures, and training requirements, of the Department of Corrections and the Court-Community Corrections Program established for position of Data Entry Technician/Secretary.
To follow the directions of the Department of Corrections staff and the Court-Community Corrections staff during the performance of the duties and responsibilities enumerated within the job description.
To fulfill such other duties as may be reasonably required by the Supervisor of the Drug Court and Director of the Court-Community Corrections Program.

Special Requirements Education & Experience:
Associate degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Sociology, or related field preferred. Experience may be substituted for the college degree.
Knowledge in the use of computer programs (Windows, Microsoft Word, Office, Excel etc.).
Basic familiarity with the criminal justice process.
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
Excellent organization and time management skills.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships in office setting.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
