We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lab Technician to join our team as a Medical Device Transit Testing Equipment Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the transit testing process for their R&D/Manufacturing of medical devices, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain all transit testing equipment, including calibration and maintenance schedules.
• Testing Environment would include: Temp/Humidity chambers, vibration table, drop tester, Blue dye integrity testing, package bubble lead testing, elevation simulation with a pressurized chamber and visual inspection.
• Plan, execute, and document transit testing protocols for new and existing medical devices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop testing strategies and protocols that meet regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
• Analyze test results and provide recommendations for design improvements or corrective actions as needed.
• Stay up-to-date on relevant regulations, standards, and industry trends related to transit testing of medical devices.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree a plus. Minimum HS Diploma
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in transit testing or quality assurance within the medical device industry.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, such as ISO 11607 and ASTM D4169.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
