As we gear up for the highly anticipated Spring 2024 opening of Athens, Georgia’s first luxury, boutique hotel, Rivet House, which will have 50 luxurious guest rooms, an upscale Italian restaurant and bar, a coffee bar and retail shop, and a 2800 square foot health and beauty spa.
AS A LOBBY ATTENDANT
The Rivet House is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our front desk team as a Lobby Attendant. In this key role, you will be playing a vital role in ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their stay.
What we will ask of you:
• Greeting guests/customers
• Manage guest/customer complaints
• Taking messages
• Managing mail, luggage and deliveries
• Perform basic administrative/secretarial/reception duties
• Running errands to assist guests
• Arranging transportation and excursions upon visitor request
• Provide information and recommendations on local features, attractions, shopping, restaurants, dining, entertainment, nightlife, and recreation
• Arranging tours and activities
• Making dinner/event reservations for guests
• Obtaining tickets for events
• Arranging special services
• Providing or arranging for general business services for guests
• Managing customer/guest requests for housekeeping and/or maintenance
• Develop network of contacts, service providers and businesses within their communities to serve guests
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel preferred.
Requirements
Requirements for Success:
• Have a positive energy, be ready to assist fellow support staff and work as a team player
• One or more years of employment in similar position or equivalent preferred
• Additional education, training, or certification preferred
• Positive, friendly, and enthusiastic mindset with an excellent record of administration work
• Ability to communicate effectively with fellow leaders, managers, employees, and all guests
• Strong problem management skills with accuracy in quickly handling emergency situations and providing solutions
• Must be able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
• Ability to constantly stand and walk with occasional stooping, kneeling, ascending, reaching, pushing, pulling, or lifting
