Full job description
Need 1 Full Time Server/Bartender. 2 Years experience a MUST. We currently have a great staff of awesome people, we just need someone to help us round it out and help it grow. All tips are pooled for the entire staff. You can expect to make around $20 per hour. We expect professionalism as a courtesy to each other (hopefully you too!) and reward that with consistency in pay.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers. - Full understanding of the menu and POS system - Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and refuse service to intoxicated or underage individuals
- Maintain a clean and organized bar/dining area, including restocking supplies and cleaning glasses and utensils
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register accurately
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe and clean environment
Requirements:
- 2 years previous experience as a bartender or server is a MUST.
- Knowledge of basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices
- Familiarity with different types of beer & wine
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak hours
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and take their orders accurately
- Strong customer service skills to provide a positive experience for patrons
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (such as kegs or cases of alcohol)
- Must be at least 18 years old (legal drinking age)
