Responsibilities:
- Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a safe and secure environment
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Secure all entrances and exits during operating hours
- Control access points and verify the identity of individuals entering the premises
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with security protocols
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of any security-related incidents
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
Experience:
- Previous experience as a security guard or in a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of security operations and procedures
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively
- Strong observation skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills for report writing and record keeping
Skills:
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
- Loss prevention techniques to minimize theft or damage to property
- Conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Understanding of law enforcement procedures and regulations
- Proficiency in surveillance techniques to identify potential threats or suspicious activities
